The sun fell
On that day.
All who stood
never thought they would.
Those who knelt to pray
standing against the swell.

Their hearts proclaming
the promises of old.
Who's day had it been?
They stood now all men
bleeding but bold
the world reclaming.

What battle had been won?
Who was this son?

Lonely

The day has gone
the hope that was
now lying on the lawn
as it always does

This is always my tale
My heart stripped of all
my fate always to fail
why do I always fall?

Will this ever end?
or shall it always contend
for this heart broken
no longer to mend?

People turn to acquaintances,
acquaintances turn to friends.
Friends are always there for you,
so they become confidantes.
Confidantes are tools of God
that show how much he loves you.
Looking back on Confidantes
I see some amazing people.
Being away from all of them
shows me that God still cares.
So in this small way
I want to say
I love you all.
No matter how much time
I spent with you.
You helped shape my life
and taught me of the love.
I hope that someday
I can tell you all in person.
